Project description:
We are localizing the website of the SaaS company developing a restaurant management software from Russian into Kazakh (Cyrillic). The initial translation was done before and we are now looking for a native Kazakh speaker to review and improve the quality of the translated content.
Your task:
You will receive a set of Google Docs files (one per website page) in Suggestion mode. Each document contains the translated Kazakh text extracted from our website pages – headings, body copy, CTAs and meta tags. Your job is to review the translation and suggest corrections directly in the document wherever the text sounds unnatural, grammatically incorrect or doesn't match standard Kazakh business language.
We are not looking for a word-for-word revision – we want the final text to read as if it were written by a native Kazakh speaker, not translated from Russian.
Project structure:
The work will be done in stages. Each stage includes a separate batch of Google Docs files. Payment is per 1,000 words, processed per stage upon completion and review.
Requirements:
– Native Kazakh speaker
– Strong written Russian skills – ability to compare source and translation accurately
– Experience in proofreading or editing translated content (website, app or marketing copy preferred)
– Familiarity with business or SaaS/tech vocabulary in Kazakh
– Comfortable working in Google Docs using Suggestion mode
– Attention to naturalness of language, not just grammatical correctness
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
