In this position, you'll play a crucial role in our online sales process—from managing sales progression and packing orders to attending major equestrian trade shows like the National Equine Show, Badminton, Royal International Hickstead, Burghley, and Your Horse Live.

Job Role:
* Sales Support - Working closely with the sales team to ensure all online orders are accurately processed, picked, and packed.
* Customer Service - Delivering exceptional customer service via email, phone, and in-store interactions, answering queries with professionalism.
* Office Tasks - Utilise Microsoft Office (Excel) and basic office systems.
* Website Management - Updating imagery, text, and stock levels on our website and maintain brand consistency.
* Event Attendance - Represent Smart Grooming at major equestrian trade shows including the National Equine Show, Badminton, Burghley, and Your Horse Live, engaging with customers and showcasing our products.
* This is a varied role that combines sales support, customer engagement, and marketing, offering excellent growth opportunities within our expanding team for a keen, committed starter.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Experience - Sales or customer service experience preferred; familiarity with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms a bonus.
* Office Skills - Strong keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel); Adobe and Canva experience are advantageous.
* Excellent communications skills, both verbally and written.
* Equestrian Background - Knowledge of equestrian grooming, turnout, and clipping, and hands-on grooming experience is a big plus.
* Personal Traits - Confident, calm, and helpful attitude; self-motivated and able to work systematically under time-conscious goals.
* Other Requirements - Full UK driving license; must be comfortable working collaboratively in a small team environment.
This role is open to college leavers, interns, graduates, and individuals with relevant experience looking to get a foothold within the equestrian business industry.
