As a Team Lead at Gymshark, you'll be an aspiring leader, driving store performance and ensuring that every customer experience reflects our brand's values of empowerment, inclusivity, and community. You'll lead by example, supporting your team in delivering exceptional service, product knowledge, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
1. Customer Service Excellence: Ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced retail store.
2. Leadership: Ability to coach and mentor a diverse team toward achieving store goals, represent Gymshark's culture and values, and act as a passionate advocate for the brand. Assist with daily store operations, identify growth opportunities, and lead by example to achieve KPIs. Contribute to a positive, motivated, and engaged team environment.
3. Team Development: Provide in-the-moment coaching, feedback, and support to foster personal and professional growth within your team. Support initiatives and special projects aligned with business goals and brand standards.
4. Customer Interaction Skills: Clear, friendly, and effective communication with customers and team members to build rapport and share product information.
5. Sales Skills: Ability to identify customer needs, upsell or cross-sell products, and meet individual and team sales targets.
6. Visual Merchandising: Knowledge of store presentation and assistance in organizing product displays to attract customers and drive sales. (Note: This skill may be more relevant at the supervisor level.)
7. Team Collaboration & Attention to Detail: Support colleagues, work together to achieve store goals, ensure the store is tidy, products are well-organized, and stock is accurately managed.
8. Problem-Solving & Multitasking: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or issues professionally while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
9. Adaptability & Positive Attitude: Adjust to changing store needs, maintain energy, positivity, and enthusiasm in customer interactions and team collaboration.
10. Product Handling & Stock Management: Assist with inventory management, restocking, and product display upkeep.
