Job introduction:
As a Security Receptionist at Merville Barracks, Circular RoadSouth, Colchester, Your role is vital in making sure that we provide a safe and secure environment for our clients. You'll be tasked with verifying and directing visitors.
What you’ll do:
* Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security identification and protocols for the site/area
* Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and other protective systems
* Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting
* Log calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff
* Deliver and maintain customer service at all times, ensuring client satisfaction
* Maintain a high standard of a well-kept reception/entry area to ensure visitors journey starts with a positive impression.
What you bring:
* Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities
* Standard SIA license
* Excellent communication and awareness skills
* Experience in working in a similar role
* Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
