About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children's learning, development, and wellbeing while helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You will work closely with nursery teams to ensure children receive the highest standards of care throughout their day.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
Support children's learning and development through engaging play-based activities.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Observe and monitor children's progress and wellbeing.
Support children's personal care routines while promoting independence.
Ensure the nursery environment remains safe, clean, and stimulating.
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Promote inclusion, equality, and diversity within the setting.
Work effectively as part of a team to support the daily running of the nursery.
Contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for all children and families.
Requirements
A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable.
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A positive, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
