Senior Commercial Manager - CoBP/ Handback Lead Contract: Healthcare Location: Weybridge, KT13 0SL Hours of work: 37.5 Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Healthcare Handback Strategy, ensuring the effective and compliant transfer of services at contract end.​ This role will play a pivotal part in guiding operational teams through commercial obligations, risks, and handback requirements. Job Description We are looking for a commercially astute leader with deep experience in PFI/Healthcare contracts, CoBP processes, and commercial risk mitigation. Your expertise will ensure robust contractual compliance, strengthened commercial awareness, and controlled financial and operational performance throughout the contract lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development and implementation of the Healthcare Handback Strategy to ensure compliant and orderly contract transfer. Provide expert commercial and contractual advice to operational teams, enabling contractually compliant solutions. Mitigate commercial and financial risk through the CoBP process by ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. Develop, implement and manage commercial processes and systems, particularly in relation to Known Issues and Survey findings. Support the preparation and submission of contractual notices, change requests, and claims. Oversee and support financial performance monitoring in partnership with the finance business partner. Manage disputes, negotiate agreements, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues. Drive commercial process improvement, standardisation and enhanced commercial awareness across operational teams. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Strong expertise in PFI and Healthcare contracts, CoBP requirements and handback processes. Robust commercial acumen with proven ability to identify and mitigate financial risk. Experience in contract financial management, performance tracking and analysis. Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrable leadership, problem-solving capability and process improvement experience. High integrity, attention to detail and strong focus on compliance.
