Job Description
Field Repair Manager – Birmingham
We’re looking for a Field Repair Manager to join our Birmingham branch management team. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them to deliver against our Minor Repairs Plan objectives across all makes and models of lifts. You’ll shape, motivate and develop your team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service that reflects our values and meets the highest Health & Safety standards. You’ll be based at our Birmingham Service Branch, with regular travel across the region. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Monday to Thursday 0800‑1645 and Friday 0800‑1545
Field Repair Manager Responsibilities
* Efficiently plan engineer workloads, including allocation of repair works.
* Maintain portfolio.
* Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team.
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures – conduct risk assessments and method statements.
* Carry out regular site monitoring.
* Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints.
Field Repair Manager Requirements
* Previous experience working within the lift industry or a similar service industry with transferable skills is essential.
* Relevant management qualifications are desirable.
* Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
