Our client is a major player in the financial services industry, operating globally with a strong focus on information security and regulatory compliance. You will be joining the Technology Information Security Office (TISO) Transformation team— a global, diverse, and collaborative group that works across the business to secure infrastructure, applications, and systems.
About the Role:
As an IT Project Manager – Cyber Security Services, you will be responsible for managing and delivering large-scale IT projects in the Cyber Security space. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing risks, ensuring timely delivery, effective stakeholder communication, and aligning project outcomes with business goals. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and strong project governance experience.
This is a -month contract role, based in London, UK, with a strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver end-to-end IT projects within Cyber Security.
2. Manage risks, dependencies, assumptions, and issues across all project phases.
3. Drive project governance to meet scope, budget, and timeline targets.
4. Liaise with key stakeholders to obtain decisions and approvals.
5. Allocate and manage project resources and team members effectively.
6. Produce clear documentation and high-quality project status reports.
7. Collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders for alignment.
8. Lead projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Preferred Skills:
9. – years of experience in IT Project Management within large organizations or the finance sector.
10. Proven experience in delivering IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, or Application projects.
11. Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and matrix reporting.
12. Hands-on experience managing complex documentation and project governance.
13. Familiarity with global delivery models and large-scale transformation programs.
14. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
15. Degree-qualified or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
