You’ll be joining a well-established facilities and maintenance team within a large hospital environment,mitted to delivering high-quality building services and ensuring a safe, well-maintained space for staff, patients, and visitors.
Your new role
As a Fabric Painter/Improver, you’ll be responsible for delivering both reactive and planned decorating services. This includes painting, making good surfaces, and installing protection elements such as corner and wall guards. You’ll also support the wider maintenance team and provide cover for other tradespersons when required. All tasks must bepleted in line with health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should ideally hold a City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a relevant trade. You must have experience working in large buildingplexes, particularly with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. A strong understanding of health and safety, goodmunication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
