Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Therapist to join the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Specialist Eating Disorders Service.
The service seeks a highly skilled individual to develop and deliver services addressing the complex physical, psychological, and psychosocial needs of clients and their families/carers, ensuring high-quality service delivery in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide a qualified specialist systemic family therapy service to clients and their families.
2. Consult with staff from other disciplines on systemic aspects of casework and patient management plans.
3. Evaluate and decide on treatment options considering theoretical and therapeutic models and complex individual, family, or group factors.
4. Lead the development of Family Therapy within the Specialist Eating Disorders Service.
5. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to team activities and development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; applications from English and Welsh speakers are equally welcome.

* Post Graduate Diploma in Systemic Family Therapy, aligned with AFT requirements.
Desirable criteria
* Clinical supervisor qualification/training/accreditation or relevant experience.
Experience

* Experience providing specialist systemic family therapy assessments and treatments across various care settings.
Desirable criteria
* Ability to reflect on and critically appraise own performance and develop new working methods.
