About The Role

In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents. You will also assist the Home Manager in organising essential fundraising events. Whether helping Residents socialise more effectively, developing new activities based on their hobbies, or involving the care team, your approach will always be guided by kindness.

We are seeking someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally with a background in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, and excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should be able to manage your time effectively and communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns is required.
