We have an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to join Nottingham City Council as Housing Casework Officers. This role is vital in our efforts to prevent homelessness and support citizens in housing need.
About the Role
Following the Section 114(3) report issued in November 2023, Nottingham City Council is committed to providing housing solutions and support. The Housing Solutions team plays a crucial role in safeguarding and homelessness prevention. We are seeking motivated and empathetic professionals to join our statutory homelessness team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Applying knowledge of housing legislation in both public and private sectors
* Managing complex workloads efficiently, meeting targets and deadlines
* Providing high-quality, customer-focused service
* Building and maintaining effective partnerships across sectors
* Understanding issues affecting homelessness and supporting citizens with complex needs
