the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery in May
2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building, bringing it back
to life. Our Heartists® aspire to create memorable, heartfelt
moments for all life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past but
also to immerse themselves into our hospitality, creating their own astonishing
tales of MGallery magical moments. We boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in
a remarkable and inspiring landmark of the city. Time is of essence and at the
heart of The Municipal’s story. The iconic clock tower and bells giving
the tempo to a timeless melody. Various restaurants, bars and a state of
the art spa sanctuary experience, will offer everyone the place to have the
time of their lives, pause the clock and embark upon their own magical journey
with MGallery.
Our hotel
is home to unforgettable high-profile VIP functions, the host to luxury
affiliations, leisure and events, stylish private dinners and professional
conferences. We are now seeking a
passionate and driven Commercial Sales and Marketing Director to join our Senior
Leadership Team.
The
Commercial Director is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s
commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and
strengthening brand positioning. This role oversees the proactive Sales and
Marketing functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, profitability
targets and long-term strategic goals.

What you'll
be doing...
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Commercial Strategy & Leadership
* Develop and implement the overall
commercial strategy in alignment with company vision and objectives.
* Identify new market opportunities,
partnerships and revenue streams.
* Support and shape the agreed pricing
strategy, through positioning, market intelligence and relationships,
leading growth
* Provide commercial insight to executive
leadership for strategic decision-making.
* Confident to present and discuss
commercial strategy and results with management company and ownership when
required
2. Sales
Management
* Agree annual sales targets, KPIs, and
revenue forecasts.
* Lead and manage the sales and marketing
team to achieve and exceed targets.
* Develop sales policies, processes and
performance standards.
* Monitor sales performance and implement
corrective actions where needed.
* Manage key accounts and strategic
customer relationships.
* Identify opportunities to support
continued growth
3. Marketing
Leadership
* Oversee brand strategy, marketing
campaigns and promotional activities.
* Lead strategically digital marketing,
lead generation and customer acquisition initiatives.
* Conduct market research and competitor
analysis.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across
all channels.
4. Financial
& Performance Management
* Prepare and manage sales and marketing
budgets.
* Ability to forecast revenue and monitor
profitability.
* Analyse commercial metrics and
performance reports, driving action and output.
* Optimise return on investment (ROI) for
marketing and sales initiatives.
5.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
* Build strong relationships with
customers, distributors, and partners.
* Negotiate contracts and commercial
agreements.
* Collaborate with Senior Team Revenue, Operations,
Finance, and others to ensure seamless execution.

WHAT WE
NEED FROM YOU
* Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field
* 5+ years of progressive experience in
sales and marketing leadership roles.
* Proven track record of driving revenue
growth and market expansion.
* Strong leadership and team management
skills.
* Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.
* Experience in strategic planning and
commercial forecasting.
* Accor brand experience preferred but not
necessary
* Experience with luxury markets, programs
and agents
