The organisation provides trauma‑informed, holistic assistance to adults and children, helping them to recover, build resilience and access the support they need. Your new role
As the Sexual Violence Single Point of Contact (SPOC), you will act as the first point of contact for individuals, agencies and stakeholders accessing the organisation’s Rape and Sexual Violence Services.This is a pivotal administrative and frontline support role where you will:
1. Handle iing calls and email enquiries with sensitivity, professionalism and care
2. Coordinate referrals, gather key information and organise initial assessments
3. Maintain accurate records on the case management system
4. Allocate clients to the appropriate counsellor, advisor or specialist worker
5. Liaise daily with multi‑agency partners, including safeguarding hubs
6. Ensure timely responses to all referrals andmunications
7. Support the wider service with data entry, organisation and general administration
8. Assist in onboarding and training new team members
Working hours are per week, Wednesday to Friday (9am–5pm), based at the organisation’s office in West Bromwich.This is a rewarding role where your ability to remain calm,passionate and organised will directly support vulnerable individuals at a crucial point in their journey.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
9. Education to Level 3 (or Level 2 with relevant experience)
10. Experience providing information, advice or support to vulnerable people
11. Strong administrative experience, including accurate data input
12. Excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal
13. Ability to build rapport sensitively and maintain professional boundaries
14. Understanding of safeguarding legislation and trauma‑informed practice
15. Ability to stay calm under pressure, prioritise effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
Due to the nature of the role, this position requires a female applicant (Occupational Requirement – Equality Act 2010) and a DBS check.
