About The Role
allpay Limited is one of the fastest growing Fintech companies in the UK, specializing in payment and financial services.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team on a fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assist in requirements gathering to support design, development, and implementation.
2. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
3. Design software that is extensible, maintainable, and supportable.
4. Provide support and consultancy within allpay as needed.
5. Maintain and improve technical skills through ongoing learning and professional development.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience with object-oriented programming languages, especially C# and .NET.
2. Experience with SQL Server or similar database management systems.
3. Problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.
4. Desirable: experience with Microsoft Azure and web frontend development.
5. Good knowledge of software, hardware, and networking environments.
This role is hybrid, based near Hereford, with commute options from Birmingham, Gloucester, Cheltenham, or Worcester.
