Overview
Prosecution Administrator – Smithfield, Stoke on Trent at Staffordshire Police. Permanent, Grade D £23,748 - £26,937.

Responsibilities
* Follow the prosecution process from its beginning through to court, reviewing and submitting traffic and crime files.
* Submit overnight remand applications to court on the same day and monitor enquiries submitted to the unit inbox along with general administrative duties.
* Liaise with victims and witnesses to provide updates and identify vulnerabilities; foster relationships with external stakeholders who support the most vulnerable people.
* Work as part of a team and independently, prioritising workload to meet more pressing demands.
* Receive on-the-job training and shadow a substantive caseworker; participate in the Buddy Up scheme for development.
