Are you a confident people leader who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment? Our Production Supervisors lead and develop their teams, champion Health & Safety, and motivate their line to deliver and exceed daily targets through strong coaching and clear direction.

We offer a 4‑day week, working Monday to Thursday, 6:55am–4:50pm, giving you long weekends every week.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Maintain hourly work output paperwork ensuring that product is supplied for distribution on time and through full adherence to production plans.
* Ensure basic output figures are maintained
* Conduct basic housekeeping responsibilities
* Monitor Craftspeople within the line to check they comply to all health & safety regulations and company policy
* Continuously monitor the performance of the team
* Identify and implement changes improve the flow and productivity of the line and inspire and lead the teams in all aspects of operational improvement
* Resource support for any technical issues in your line
* Carry out WIP counts at week
* Take part in stock take twice per year
* Ensure that quality targets are met, working in conjunction with the Quality team, through the supply of product to agreed specification identifying improvements with regard to consistency, reduction of scrap and total number of repairs.
* Work with the Production & Operations Manager to resolve staffing needs. Ensure your team is upskilled to allow your team to be as flexible as possible, work with the Industrialisation team to arrange any training requirements.
* Liaise with the Production and Operations Manager with regards to recruitment for your line. Carry out any necessary recruitment requirements.
* Promote the highest possible quality standards at all times within the line
* Provide a point of contact for Craftsperson queries
* Make recommendations to the Production Operations Manager relating to performance.

TEAM

* Work collaboratively with all key stakeholders
* Develop, challenge and grow direct reports by means of effective management thus forming a solid leadership style
* Hold daily morning meetings with the line, communicating any important messages from the business
* Log absence and behavioural issues using an absence tracker and Dayforce, taking advice from HR when necessary
* Handling of confidential employee information (i.e. absence data)
* Chairing confidential meetings for Craftspeople in your line (i.e. investigations, recorded conversations, disciplinaries)
* Carry out annual performance reviews, analysing performance and setting future objectives. Ensuring we are recognizing talent and utilizing.
* Act as internal coach and be able to help develop the skills of other team members within the line and act as a mentor during training e.g. apprentices
* Performance management of team through regular coaching and development, and quality face-to-face interactions
