Previous experience with apprenticeships is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Curriculum Lead in planning and designing curriculum to develop apprentices' knowledge, skills, and behaviors for successful assessment
2. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning according to company strategy
3. Conduct Initial Assessments, including prior learning assessment, following quality procedures
4. Assist learners in developing Learning Plans with targets and current competence assessments
5. Conduct Progress Reviews at least every 12 weeks
6. Develop relationships with employers at operational and strategic levels, promoting Access services and brands
7. Assist in annual self-assessment against the Educational Inspection Framework (EIF)
8. Ensure respectful, non-discriminatory treatment of learners, staff, and customers
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English, or equivalent
* Recognized Teaching qualification
* Level 3 Accounts qualification, with willingness to work towards Level 4
* Experience teaching Accounts subjects
* Experience creating schemes of work, lesson plans, and using e-tools for engaging teaching
* Experience supporting apprentices through their KSBs and EPA process
* Ability to organize reviews and monitor progress with apprentices and employers
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Excellent team player
* Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, e-tools, and e-portfolio platforms
* Commitment to professional development
* Valid driving license and own transport (mileage paid)
* Accounts Level 4 qualification or higher (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
* Recognized Assessors qualification (D32/33, A1, TAQA)
* Degree-level education
* Experience in commercial training roles
* Understanding of EIF and Safeguarding/PREVENT
