The Opportunity
The Project Readiness and Acceptance Planner is responsible for the development & management of the programme Readiness & Acceptance Strategy for delivery of the programme to full operational capability.
The role will be supporting the Programme Commissioning Manager and Programme Lead with the below responsibilities
Key outputs will be, but not limited to;
Requirements & Acceptance Management Plan.
Readiness & DLoD Integration Plan.
ITEA & Commissioning Plan.
Liaise with the Commissioning Manager to act as the point of contact between project commissioning team and the broader stakeholder community and DLoD owners.
Contribute to the development of project commissioning management arrangements
Contribute to the development of the Verification and Validation criteria and DLoD Satisfaction Arguments with the aim to enable the acceptance of the Out of Water engineering (docking) capability.
Contribute to the development of the projects commissioning schedule with respect to the readiness of naval base stakeholders, personnel and existing assets to be involved in clients commissioning test, trial and acceptance activities.
Contribute to the planning and development of the test and commissioning team members. The aim is to generate a SQEP workforce to be involved in the test, evaluation and acceptance of floating docks and shore infrastructure, with the broader aim of developing that team to manage, operate and maintain the full floating docking capability in the longer term.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Delivery of infrastructure in a MOD (or civil) Nuclear environment to AC(LC)19/20/22.
Commissioning management/planning experience to AC(LC)21.
Stakeholder management
Engineering appreciation (does not necessarily need to be ex engineer although that would be desired but needs to understand how things are made/work) but appreciation of testing and validation functions of commissioning would be useful as it will be a daily conversation
Decision maker
Previous Interface Management or PM experience
MUST be from highly reg, defence/nuclear is the preference, O&G could probably transfer, if a candidate has worked at Sellafield or HPC they will pick up quickly.
V&V exp (desirable) – have system engineers to support
