We are looking for an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a welcoming GP surgery in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in standard treatment room duties and be fully proficient in using EmisWeb.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
*
Chronic disease management including reviews and patient education
*
Blood pressure checks, ECGs, spirometry, and blood tests
*
Cervical cytology (smear tests) and vaccinations (including travel health, if applicable)
*
Wound care and immunisations
*
Accurate documentation using EmisWeb.
*
Supporting the wider clinical team and contributing to QOF targets
🔹 Requirements:
*
NMC Registered Nurse (RGN)
*
Recent experience working as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
*
Strong chronic disease management experience and treatment room duties (diabetes, asthma, COPD essential)
*
SystmOne trained
*
Cervical cytology and immunisation certificates (desirable but not essential)
