Location: Yarnton | Salary: £38,000 (equivalent to £18.27 per hour) | Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (40 hours per week) | Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Assembly Technician to join a growing and innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assembling high-quality mechanical products, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Responsibilities
* Carry out mechanical assembly in line with company standards
* Work confidently from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
* Ensure builds meet quality and safety requirements
* Identify and report any issues or improvements within the assembly process
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Qualifications
* Proven experience in mechanical assembly
* Ability to accurately follow technical instructions, SOPs, and drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
* Experience in a prototype or R&D environment would be highly advantageous
* A proactive and team-oriented attitude
