We are seeking a Technician to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality survey services. The role involves conducting intrusive and non-intrusive surveys, primarily on roads, to support infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct accurate and detailed intrusive and non-intrusive surveys on roads and airfields
2. Ensure all survey data is collected and recorded in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
3. Operate and maintain survey equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Drive to and from survey locations, ensuring timely and efficient travel.
5. Tow trailers and transport equipment safely and in accordance with legal requirements.
6. Adhere to health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment(PPE).
7. Collecting survey data on either handheld devices or tablet computers.
8. Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey results meet project objectives
9. Work away from home as required, including night shifts to accommodate project schedules
Work Environment
10. This role is site-based, involving outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
11. Requires working away from home for extended periods, depending on project needs.
12. Includes night shifts to minimize disruption to road users and ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:
Previous experience in surveying, civil engineering, or highways projects is a plus, as well as relevant competencies such as:
17. CSCS Card – demonstrating site safety awareness.
18. Safety Critical Medical – ensuring fitness for safety-critical tasks.
19. Van Driving Competency – ability to operate vans safely and efficiently.
20. Trailer Towing Competency – proficiency in towing trailers for equipment transport.
