About the Role
Since 2005, our Nuclear Division has provided high-end strategic and advisory consultancy support to the nuclear industry, working with operators and regulators across new build, existing generation, decommissioning, and defence markets. We specialise in safety cases, environmental management, nuclear safety governance, radioactive waste management and decommissioning strategy, and the development and demonstration of nuclear organisational capability.
With clients including Small Modular Reactor and gigawatt-scale nuclear power station developers, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Nuclear Waste Services, and a range of nuclear-related manufacturing, research, and defence organisations, we help organisations demonstrate compliance with legal and regulatory expectations across the nuclear industry.
As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort in an exciting, interdisciplinary environment. You will benefit from strong support from office and technical colleagues, along with significant guidance from senior staff within our open and collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to senior team members on projects across a range of disciplines, including safety assurance, radioactive waste management, environmental assessment, and secretariat support for nuclear clients.
* Lead specific technical work tasks, including data assessment, documentation review and updates, technical report authoring, and technical recording at workshops.
* Support senior team members with client engagement, business development activities, and preparation of bid submissions for new work.

* A Perseverer – You remain composed in the face of setbacks, approaching challenges with confidence and determination.
* An Adapter – You stay calm in new and changing situations, switching comfortably between a variety of dynamic tasks.
* A Focused Individual – You concentrate on what matters, tuning out distractions to perform effectively in any situation.
* A Collaborator – You work effectively with diverse teams, considering others’ perspectives to shape better outcomes.
* An Eager Learner – You learn from your experiences and the world around you, using this knowledge to anticipate how situations may unfold.
