Children’s Home Manager – Permanent Position Location: Wisbech Salary: £45,000 Bonuses: £5,000 Welcome Bonus 21% Annual Bonus On-call Payments Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Children’s Home Manager to lead a well-established three-bed residential home in Wisbech. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and compassionate leader to join a fully staffed team in a home rated “Good” by Ofsted, supporting three young girls with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Role Overview The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, a passion for high-quality care, and a proven track record in managing EBD homes. With no current staff vacancies and a stable team in place, this role offers the chance to focus on building meaningful relationships and driving continued excellence. Key Responsibilities Deliver outstanding care and ensure excellent outcomes for young people Oversee daily operations and contribute to the strategic development of the home Lead a dedicated team and work collaboratively with external professionals Act as a positive role model, fostering trust and long-term growth Manage staff rotas, training (QCF Level 3), appraisals, and performance reviews Oversee service development, budgeting, and financial performance Ensure safeguarding and promote the wellbeing of all residentsRequirements Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards) Strong understanding of The Children Act 1989 and Children’s Home Regulations Proven experience in budget and financial management Full UK driving licence Flexibility to provide on-call supportWhy Join This Opportunity?
