We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.
Job Advert Role Description
Levitt Mill and Barn is located on the outskirts of the small town of Maltby, close to Rotherham.
It offers residential support for 11 males and females, who have a learning disability and/or are autistic. We are located in a semi-rural setting, in a listed building with its own unique history, situated in the centre of its own grounds in a peaceful woodland setting at the side of a small stream.
We are looking for a maintenance assistant to join the team with duties to include:
1. Complete painting decoration of buildings along with service users bedrooms.
2. Complete H&S Fire alarms testing fire drills fire extinguishes
3. Checks of window restrictors and emergency lighting.
4. Maintenance quality walkrounds.
5. Completion of all systems checked to be implemented on our Nourish systems.
6. Reporting to management of any jobs required to put call outs of our Estates systems.
You will spend 30 hours at Levitt Mill & Barn along with 10 hours at a nearby service.
Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record is required, working in a maintenance or building role along with a good understanding of health and safety legislation and the ability to complete regulatory checks and paperwork.
