Job Summary
this is a position for people with 0-2 years of work experience. We are looking for a QA Technician with experience in geospatial analysis to support our team for a 3‑month full‑time contract, with the possibility of extension. This role involves analyzing over‑ocean optical, SAR, and possibly hyperspectral imagery to ensure high‑quality data for our AI/ML models. The job requires strong attention to detail and involves repetitive tasks to maintain accuracy. Your work will directly impact our model performance and product quality.
Responsibilities
* Review and analyze remote sensing imagery for quality assurance
* Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in imagery data
* Work with AI/ML teams to ensure data quality meets model requirements
* Follow standard procedures for image processing and validation
* Document findings and communicate any issues clearly
Qualifications
* STEM degree (e.g., Remote Sensing, GIS, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science) – must have
* Experience with AI/ML data annotation or image labeling – nice‑to‑have
* Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or remote sensing software – nice‑to‑have
* Knowledge of SAR and hyperspectral imagery – nice‑to‑have
* Attention to detail – Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy
* Technical background – Experience with remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial analysis
* Problem‑solving skills – Ability to identify and fix data inconsistencies
* Ability to work independently and follow structured workflows
