Planning Engineer – Renewable Energy
Location: North Cornwall
Salary: £30,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
A leading renewable energy developer is seeking a Planning Engineer to join their expanding planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of Solar PV, Wind, and Battery Storage projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the preparation and submission of planning applications.
* Conduct planning research and site feasibility studies.
* Assist with the creation of plans and visuals for planning submissions.
* Review potential sites for renewable energy development.
* Identify and evaluate opportunities for new wind and battery projects.
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Planning, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Proficiency with ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
