Barker Ross are currently looking for a Line Leader for a co-pack operation based in the NN6, Daventry area. This is an exciting opportunity for to work for a world leading food and beverage company.
Responsibilities
* Manage and motivate a team of operatives to meet production targets and product specifications
* Effectively use the onsite IT and Warehouse Management Systems
* To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
* To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
* To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external and follow good manufacturing practices
* To attend Line Leader meetings
* To assist in the training and development of new starters
* To act as a role model for best practice
* Work alongside staff on the production line
* Ad Hoc production duties
Shift and hours
* 06:00 to 14:00
* Flexibility may be required to cover temporarily the PM shift 14:00 to 22:00
Ideal candidate
* Experience working in a similar field
* A can do attitude
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
* Ability to motivate
* Basic IT skills
