The Opportunity for you…
Are you currently working at 2nd line at an MSP, and looking to join a company that offers training, development, and progression? Or are you looking to actually contribute to an MSP where your ideas are heard and bring ideas to the table? Then this is the job for you.
As a 3rd line engineer, you’ll be based in the Teesside office for this MSP. These have recently won contracts and in turn, needs to grow out their team. This MSP has seen employees progress from apprentices right the way through to directors – definitely room for progression and growth.
You’ll be working with customers on support with plenty of project work. Likewise in this role, you have the opportunity to come up with new ideas + products to expand their service offering to the way you see fit. We’d be looking for an engineer who’s got their finger on the pulse by way of new tech within the industry.
This role is for a 2nd line engineer who may have hit a glass ceiling in their current company and wants to progress their career. You’ll need to have a ‘what’s next’ approach by way of technology and product offerings as this MSP are looking for someone who can come in and contribute above and beyond support work.
With this being in a managed services environment, the role is end‑to‑end and you’ll get involved through design, deployment and then ongoing service so the broader the background the better.
We’re looking for a strong Microsoft‑biased engineer who has experience working within an MSP. With this role being customer‑facing, this will suit someone who has had a strong service provider background. An ideal general background for you will be having strong all‑round IT skills which is a given if you’ve worked within an MSP.
This is an adult environment, so you’re not going to be chained to your desk 5 days a week. This MSP truly values its staff and allows hybrid working from the start – I must say, most of the engineers do prefer to be in the office, though due to the camaraderie!
