We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Director to manage the procurement organization. You will ensure effective and lean procurement processes and be responsible for delivering maximum value for money across our direct and indirect procurement spend, playing a key role in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Our procurement function ensures a strategic approach to purchasing goods and services by driving effective and lean procurement processes, aiming to deliver maximum value for money across all areas.
Your responsibilities in this role include:
* Implementing purchasing policies across all business areas.
* Owning direct and indirect spend across all OXB functions.
* Developing and maintaining stakeholder and key supplier relationships internally and externally at all levels, aligned with OXB values.
* Driving innovation in procurement, streamlining strategies, and adding value on major projects.
* Managing long-term procurement pipelines and developing plans aligned with the organization’s future goals.
* Collaborating across OXB to maximize procurement value.
* Working with stakeholder groups to develop and deliver sourcing best practices.
* Developing end-to-end sourcing strategies to transition the procurement team from transactional to strategic, focusing on category management and SRM development.
* Building strong relationships within the business and with suppliers to ensure business strategies are integrated into procurement planning.
We are looking for:
* Degree-level education (or equivalent).
* An MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
* A proven track record in procurement with evidence of value addition and cost reduction through effective sourcing strategies.
* Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industries.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, build relationships, collaborate, and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
* Experience in leading, developing, and managing teams.
* Ability to create, analyze, and drive data-driven decisions.
