Event Marketing Manager – Technology Events
Circa £40,000-45,000 + Benefits + Bonuses + Career Growth + Remote
UK - Remote
My client produces global conferences, customised events, and content across the Technology space. A new role has arisen for an Events Marketer with a minimum of 2 years+ B2B experience, ideally from a conference business, to work on a growing portfolio of international events and roundtables.
The Role…
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing innovative and effective digital marketing campaigns on time and within budget to meet business objectives. You must be a self-starter with a keen interest in strategic planning and campaign execution. Tasks include data build and management, social media optimisation, website and e-shot planning/content/execution, PPC and remarketing campaigns, media and channel partner management, and more.
Specifically, the role involves:
* Campaign Management: Evaluating customer research, market conditions, competitor data, conducting response analyses, producing engaging marketing plans, and defining campaigns.
* Hitting targets for revenue and lead generation while controlling the marketing budget.
* CRM and Data Management: Learning and implementing list build strategies and sourcing innovative data.
* Email Marketing: Liaising with relevant departments, writing effective email copy, creating emails using our software, tracking responses, and analyzing results.
* Media Partners: Developing relationships with trade press, associations, publications, and industry bodies to promote events.
* Collateral and Content Production: Working with designers to create brochures, print ads, and other materials; creating engaging content; conducting interviews; distributing content via websites, media partners, social media, and email marketing.
* Social Media, PPC, and Remarketing: Managing LinkedIn, Twitter, and other channels for lead generation and branding; utilising advertising and PPC to reach new audiences.
We’re looking for a confident, passionate, and energetic individual who enjoys teamwork. Strong communication skills, experience in creating targeted digital campaigns with measurable ROI, and preferably some experience in marketing within B2B publishing, conferences, or exhibitions (minimum 2 years) are required. Knowledge of HubSpot, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and a results-oriented mindset are essential.
