Job Description
3. Oversee all financial operations within the company
4. Manage the accounting and finance team and guide them towards achieving company objectives
5. Drive profitability and growth by understanding and influencing key business drivers
6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and standards in all financial functions
8. Develop and implement financial strategies and plans
9. Monitor and manage company budget and finances
10. Engage in regular financial forecasting and risk analysis
The Successful Applicant
11. Commercially minded finance leader with strong technical accounting expertise
12. Comfortable operating hands‑on in an SME manufacturing environment
13. Credible business partner to the Managing Director and Board, contributing to strategic and investment decisions
14. Proven capability across financial reporting, budgeting, FP&A, and cashflow management
15. Experience professionalising finance and accounting processes and controls
16. Confident people manager, able to lead and develop a small finance team
17. Strong communicator, effective with auditors, tax advisers, and wider group stakeholders
18. Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to ERP/BI systems an advantage
19. Pragmatic, detail‑oriented, and proactive with a can‑do attitude
