The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Sales Advisor to join our Crawley office. This is a telephone and email‑based role at the heart of our sales operation, handling inbound enquiries from homeowners and trade customers who are considering underfloor heating for their projects.
You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers — your ability to understand their requirements quickly, provide accurate product guidance and turn interest into orders will directly contribute to business growth. You will work closely with our Field Sales team, providing information and administrative support to ensure new customers are onboarded smoothly.
Key responsibilities
* Handle inbound sales enquiries by telephone and email, qualifying leads and matching customers to the right products and solutions
* Collation and preparation of accurate information, passed on to our Estimation team, in a timely manner. Follow up post quotation to maximise conversion
* Provide administrative support to the Field Sales team, including processing orders and managing new customer onboarding
* Develop a good working knowledge of our underfloor heating product range, associated products and services - to be able to advise customers confidently
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, ensuring all customer interactions and pipeline activity are up to date
* Liaise with operations and technical teams as needed to resolve customer queries
* Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities where relevant to the customer's project
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and support continuous improvement of our sales processes
What we're looking for
Essential
* Previous experience in a telephone-based sales or customer service role
* Strong communication skills — confident, clear and customer-focused
* Good attention to detail when preparing quote information and processing orders
* Comfortable working to targets and KPIs
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn CRM systems quickly
* A proactive attitude — you take ownership of your enquiries from first contact to close
Desirable
* Experience in a trade, construction or home improvement sales environment
* Familiarity with underfloor heating or related products (full training will be provided)
* Experience using a CRM or quoting platform
