Salary: Competitive with excellent benefitsWe are currently seeking a skilled Domestic Heating Engineer to join our Clients Property Management team, which is central to creating great places to live for their customers. This role offers a secure foundation for building a long-term future, as they continue to grow and transform their operations. As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Gas Servicing and Heating Breakdowns, ensuring the safety and comfort of customers' homes.
Day to Day of the role:
Carry out Gas Servicing and Heating Breakdowns in customer homes, adhering to work schedules and Gas Safety regulations.
Perform planned maintenance checks on systems and equipment, and repair or replace gas system parts as necessary.
Install and repair heating system pipework, providing advice on gas safety and energy efficiency to customers.
Use mobile IT equipment to complete records accurately, contributing to the organisation's compliance with regulations.
Liaise with internal and external customers to keep them informed of progress and actions taken.
Participate in the Out of Hours call-out service as per company policies.
Maintain a professional image and promote a positive service to the community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT1, MET1, CKR1, and HTR1.
NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing or equivalent is ideal.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a company van.
Previous experience as a domestic gas service and breakdown engineer, preferably within social housing.
Confidence in using IT equipment such as iPads.
