We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in and around the school.
This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
The successful applicants must have a clean criminal record as an Enhanced DBS certificate is required for this position, which we will help obtain.
There are two different positions available:
* Monday to Friday 4pm-6pm
* Monday to Friday 2.30 pm -6.30 pm
Rate of pay is £12.26 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties in residential or commercial properties, ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy.
* Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to carry out tasks efficiently.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards encountered during cleaning tasks.
* Drive to various locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled cleaning appointments.
Experience
* Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* A valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between job sites.
* Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
* Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and build positive relationships.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to report on tasks completed and any issues encountered.
