Chef de Partie – No Evenings
Excel Recruitment are currently recruiting for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join a busy café/restaurant operation in the heart of Belfast City Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known, island-wide hospitality brand offering an excellent work-life balance, daytime hours, and the chance to work with fresh, high-quality ingredients in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will be part of a small but energetic kitchen team producing fresh, vibrant food throughout the day. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and service.

1. Daytime hours only – typically 8am to 5pm
2. No late nights
3. 5 days out of 7 rota

Responsibilities
8. Prepare and cook fresh food to a high standard
9. Maintain consistency and presentation across all dishes
10. Work efficiently during busy service periods
11. Support kitchen hygiene and HACCP procedures
12. Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation
13. Work collaboratively within a small kitchen team
The Ideal Candidate
14. Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
15. Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
16. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
17. Strong teamwork and communication skills
18. Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
19. Reliable, organised, and enthusiastic attitude
