Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Radiotherapy

Location: London, The Harley Street Clinic

Contract Type - Fixed Term until October 2026

Working Hours: Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Radiotherapy Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) who has a special interest in cancer care to join our established Oncology team at The Harley Street Clinic and LOC, currently rated "Outstanding" and renowned for having the most advanced private cancer facilities in Europe, combining state-of-the-art equipment with a dedicated team of oncologists and clinicians.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a renowned private hospital that delivers cutting-edge cancer care with a patient-centred approach

As a Radiotherapy Clinical Nurse Specialist, we will look to you to provide a high-quality cancer nursing service to patients from all solid tumour groups throughout their radiotherapy treatment pathway.

You will be an advocate for the patient, providing specialist nursing advice and emotional support, while also educating them on the treatment pathway, ensuring they have everything they need to make informed decisions about their care. Day-to-day, this will involve working closely with patients and their families, but also the wider MDT team to ensure the best possible patient experience and continuity of care.

Your main responsibilities will involve early intervention where appropriate to ensure patients feel confident and comfortable with their treatment choice. The support you will provide to patients throughout treatment will be vital to them managing their side effects effectively and maintaining a good level of health during this time. There will be some work to support unwell patients and making autonomous clinical decisions, building your own knowledge and skills within this role.

This role is part of the Radiotherapy Review Team, which consists of another Radiotherapy Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Review Radiographer. This unique MDT approach highly benefits the patients and their families experience and is extremely well reviewed by consultant colleagues, who you will build strong collaborative relationships with to provide the best possible care to your patients.

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.
