Front of House Team Leader
Salary £28-£35k depending on experience plus share of gratuities 45 hours per week over 5 days Split/Straight Shifts – Meal provided for straight shift

Job description
* Responsible for day to day running of the bar and restaurant.
* Responsible for end of day procedures, end of day on the tills etc, securing all areas and locking up/alarming the premises.
* Taking telephone bookings and managing table allocations
* Weekly social media updates with promotions, events etc and responding to any enquiries
* Ordering stock to maintain necessary levels, monitoring and checking supplier prices and ensuring good stock rotation. Checking deliveries on arrival
* Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all public areas, behind the bar, cellar, outside areas and garden. Ensuring staff are always well presented.
* Hiring and managing front of house staff. Giving staff full induction training covering our procedures and company policies. Responsible for weekly rotas to be sent out to staff on a regular day each week.
* Cellar management of beer condition, pipe cleaning, equipment maintenance and temperature control.
* Liaising with Chef Manager and Administrator re menus, emails, reservations and customer enquiries
* Keeping good communications with the kitchen during service to ensure everything runs smoothly
* Promoting sales and encouraging staff to offer up selling and to have good communication skills with customers.
* Ensure customer care is of the most excellent standard, resolve any complaints and ensure customers are always made to feel welcome and valued.
Your qualities
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Possess good customer service skills
* Good organisational skills and a proactive team leader
* Good communication skills, verbal and written
* The ability to produce good team work in a happy environment
* Have a personal licence and understanding of licensing laws.
* Food Hygiene certificate level 2
* Bags of enthusiasm to motivate staff to give the best customer service possible and to make it a good place to be working in
* Passionate about good food, wines and beers
