Following continuous growth, we are currently looking for a Part-Time Kitchen Porter to join our Kitchen Team at Hilton Aberdeen TECA. The ideal candidate will have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and show genuine care.
This role is based at Hilton Aberdeen, located on the site of The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA). The hotel features 200 bedrooms, the Quarter House Bar & Grill, Flight Path, Aberdeen’s only Executive Lounge, and Devona Spa & Leisure.

A Day in the Life of a Kitchen Porter at Our Hotel
What you'll be doing...
* Keeping the kitchen running smoothly by cleaning and organising equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
* Washing and sanitising pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen tools, ensuring everything is ready for the next dish.
* Assisting with basic food prep tasks, like peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients, to support the chefs during busy periods.
* Managing waste by disposing of rubbish, recycling, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
* Keeping storage areas stocked, organised, and clean, ensuring supplies are easy to find and ready to use.
* Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries, helping to keep the kitchen stocked and organised.
* Following health, safety, and hygiene standards rigorously, contributing to a safe and spotless kitchen.
