The role's emphasis will be on designing, implementing, and supervising operational systems, as well as improving and maintaining efficiency across all business areas. This includes overseeing and managing day-to-day operational activities such as managing the Project Management system, new enquiries and quotes, invoices, quality control, inventory management, and resource allocation during the survey season. The role is anticipated to evolve to include client and third-party liaison, reporting, and diary/schedule management. REQUIREMENTS Experience in leading at least some of the listed areas of responsibility, combined with general management experience Responsibility for a budget at a programme or functional level Leading and managing a team Experience with the delivery of major projects or implementation of new systems Optimization of systems through a positive attitude to change and proficient use of technology Experience in writing a range of different report types Comfortable being client-facing and networking Full driving licence and use of a car Eligibility to work in the UK DESIRABLES Experience of working within a professional services firm, either in the built environment sector or generally (e.g., law, accountancy) Demonstrable awareness and experience of utilizing technology as an enabler within the business Experience of coordinating or delivering training to support take-up and embed new systems or tools across the company Professional experience in areas such as efficiency, project management, and strategic operations would be looked on favourably, though a specific educational or professional qualification is not required HOW TO APPLY Please send your CV and cover letter to HR@Luscinia-Ecology.co.uk, including your location and salary expectation.
