Hybrid - Hereford. Home & office based as required.

Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a real impact in a dynamic, values-driven organisation?
We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our People Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with leaders across the organisation, providing high quality HR advice, managing complex casework, and supporting strategic organisational objectives.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People, you'll play a key role in delivering both operational and strategic HR support. You'll act as a trusted advisor to managers, building strong working relationships and providing expert guidance across the full range of HR matters.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional, solution-focused HR advice to managers and stakeholders
Manage complex and non-complex casework (including investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, sickness absence and appeals)
Support change management initiatives and organisational development activity
Advise on employment law, terms and conditions, and HR policy interpretation
Support TUPE processes where required
Contribute to the development and review of HR/OD policies and procedures
Deliver HR training and workshops
Support recruitment and selection processes, including senior and complex appointments
Interpret and present HR data and management information
Undertake job evaluation and contribute to HR projects
Build strong internal partnerships across teams and functions
What We're Looking For
Strong employment law knowledge and practical HR advisory experience
Confidence managing complex employee relations cases
Ability to build trusted, credible relationships at all levels
Commercial awareness and a solution-focused mindset
Experience supporting change initiatives and HR projects
Excellent communication and training delivery skills
A collaborative team player who is adaptable and proactive
