Crematorium Administrator & Receptionist needed in Godalming, £15ph PAYE – Reference: 5266667
Mon to Thurs 8:30am to 5:00pm & Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm,
Fully office-based at the Crematorium
Responsibilities include:
1. Input of legal and medical papers related to cremation bookings
2. Handling telephone and reception duties
3. Providing general support to the team, including data entry, filing, record keeping, scanning, and booking appointments
4. Processing requests for webcasts and tributes, and allocating finance
5. Communicating with the coroner’s office, medical practice, and funeral directors to resolve issues with medical and legal papers and appointments
6. Assisting funeral directors and families in collecting memorials, ashes, and paperwork
7. Adapting to changing demands and priorities within the role
This is a full-time position on a temporary contract basis.
