JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon Job Type: Contract, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £105 Per day Job Duties: Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans for students with SEN Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Help students with SEN to develop their social and communication skills Support students in their academic and personal development Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Level 3 qualification in Teaching Support or relevant field Experience: Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN requirements and best practises Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN support First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work in a classroom environment, collaborate with teachers and other support staff, adhere to school policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of student information All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
