We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within our Trust at Great Bookham School. The role involves supporting teaching and learning in the classroom alongside the teacher in various capacities. The position requires good interpersonal skills and a strong desire to develop and support children in all areas of school.
The successful candidate will:
* Have a passion for making a difference to the life chances of individuals.
* Have high expectations for all and a great team spirit.
* Be willing to get involved with all aspects of school life, including lunchtime support.
* Have experience delivering pastoral and/or targeted curriculum interventions.
* Be interested in gaining school experience prior to pursuing a career in teaching or working with children.

Great Bookham School is part of the South Farnham Educational Trust, a multi-academy trust comprising ten schools, including an associate member, St Mary's C of E (Aided) Infant School. Our School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) program has over 100 trainees. Since September 2022, South Farnham School has been awarded Teaching School Hub status, a significant accolade for both the school and the trust.
The role is for 32.5 hours a week, term-time only.
