At Walsingham Support, we are committed to providing high-quality care and support services. Our mission is to empower individuals to live independently and with dignity. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bank Support Workers to join our team on a zero hours contract basis.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Bank Support Worker, you will:

• Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes or community settings.

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.

• Promote independence and support individuals to achieve their personal goals.

• Maintain accurate records and reports.

• Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar care/support role is desirable but not essential.

• A compassionate and caring nature.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work various shifts as required.

• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable.

One of our lovely team is moving on, so this is your chance to become part of something special and make a real difference every day as a Female Support Worker.

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to join our team on a bank (zero-hours) basis, providing flexible cover for annual leave and sickness with a fixed 13 hour shift every other Saturday.

About the service

We support four Female individuals with learning disabilities and epilepsy, providing person-centred support to promote independence, wellbeing, and a positive quality of life.

The role involves supporting with a range of daily living tasks, which may include personal care (such as assistance with bathing and continence care), meal preparation and support with eating, cooking, cleaning, and supporting individuals to access the community and take part in a variety of activities.

You will also be required to support individuals with mobility needs, including pushing wheelchairs where necessary.

The role includes working a 13-hour shift every other Saturday 8am - 9pm
