A leading, award-winning building services consultancy is seeking an experienced and Chartered Associate Electrical Engineer to join their Belfast office. Role Responsibilities
* Provide discipline leadership and technical guidance across projects
* Lead the electrical design process, ensuring high standards and on-time delivery
* Oversee project performance, quality assurance, and budget control
* Resolve technical challenges through hands-on involvement
* Promote continuous improvement and best practice across the team
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards
Requirements
* Chartered Engineer status
* Recognised qualifications in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 8 years of experience in building services electrical design
* Proficient in Revit and/or Amtech software
* Experience with environmental assessment frameworks such as BREEAM
* Familiarity with BIM and CIBSE standards
* Strong client-facing and leadership skills
* Legal right to work in the UK and Ireland
Skills & Attributes
* Deep technical understanding of electrical building services design
* Awareness of multidisciplinary collaboration within the built environment
* Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and reference standards
* Competent with software tools such as Dialux, Amtech, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
* Clear communicator with strong graphical, verbal, and written skills
* Organised, self-motivated, and proactive
* Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset
* Effective at prioritising, managing pressure, and balancing workloads
* Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
