Your new firm: This market leading audit and advisory firm, with a large regional presence across the Northwest, is seeking to appoint a new Audit and Advisory Manager (ACA / ACCA qualified) into their new Bolton office. Your new role: As an Audit and Advisory Manager, you will manage a team responsible for ensuring the timely and quality delivery of audit and advisory services to your portfolio. Your portfolio will be complex, varied, and challenging, with exposure to groups, international businesses, fast-growing SMEs, and property clients.
You will be responsible for managing multiple audit assignments, ensuring work is delivered on schedule, providing coaching and support, offering technical training to the team, reviewing audit files, and leading audit close meetings. Your role will be crucial in developing your team through coaching juniors, reviewing their work, and upskilling audit seniors. You will receive continuous support from senior managers and the partner team, reporting on your progress and audit work.
What you'll need to succeed: The firm seeks a professional Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with extensive experience in an audit team within a practice conducting high-quality audits, ideally in the OMB space. You will have operated as an Assistant Manager or higher post-qualification and have experience reviewing audit files. The organization values excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, a strong commitment to professional excellence, and the ability to build strong client relationships, along with good analytical review skills.
The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and expand their skills as an audit professional. The firm considers both aspiring managers and recently promoted managers.
