We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Clinical Lead nurse to join our caring and progressive team in Faversham. Main duties of the job

As the clinical lead you will be leading the team of community nurses in Faversham to provide a nursing service to housebound patients within the locality.

You will assist the Operational Manager to ensure robust clinical and professional leadership is provided to the team, and that safe and effective practice is delivered by our staff members. You will be supporting junior colleagues, students and apprentices with their clinical development, helping them to reach their potential and develop our workforce of the future.

Additional Working Pattern: 26 hrs over 3 or 4 days

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

1. Management or supervisory qualification / programme of study.
2. Health related degree and evidence of relevant post graduate development at Level 6.
3. Registered health care professional (NMC or HCPC registration) / significant experience in health improvement environment.
4. Evidence of Post Graduate Specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice (examples: non-medical prescribing, mentorship, coaching, clinical expertise).

Desirable criteria

5. Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector / Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, Post Graduate Certificate of Education or Certificate in Education. Working towards Master level study

Experience

Essential criteria

6. Experience with using of Microsoft Office
7. Demonstrable experience in area of practice.
8. Experience of leading and managing teams.
9. Experience of developing policy and service development plans with practical experience of change management.
10. Practical experience in managing health related projects/complex caseloads.
11. Supporting others (mentor / educator / supervisor) experience

Knowledge

Essential criteria

12. Understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance to relevant to care setting and its application across health care services
13. Evidence of continued relevant professional development and implementation in practice within the last 12 months
14. Proven ability to develop effective partnerships to achieve practical outcomes across organisational boundaries including statutory organisations, external agencies, community and voluntary organisations

15. Highly developed facilitation skills.
16. Ability to manage time effectively, priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
17. Ability to work effectively with a variety of people at all organisational levels across different sectors including areas of social deprivation.

19. Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
