The WS Society’s trading subsidiary is SignetCo Limited and certain of the duties and responsibilities set out below relate to SignetCo’s commercial activities.
REPORTING TO: Principal Solicitor, Governance and Charities
Main duties and responsibilities
1. To assist and support the Principal Solicitor with
o Administration services provided to a portfolio of governance and charity clients, including
o processing of charitable grant applications, communication with grant applicants and grant holders,
o making grant payments,
o agenda and minute preparation,
o communication with trustees and attending trustees’ meetings,
o liaising with the accountants on financial administration, and
o producing client newsletters, client web content and social media.
o Administration of a programme of continuing professional development (CPD) conferences on legal subjects, including
o Planning annual calendar of events,
o marketing via e-bulletins and social media,
o registration and invoicing of bookings,
o liaising with speakers,
o conference delivery, and
o collecting feedback.
2. To support and contribute towards the Society’s activities generally, as required, including
o Organising, delivering and attending the Society’s events, including member admissions, annual dinner and special events
o performing reception duties, when required
o managing email inboxes for a number of accounts
o accurate file management for documents
o invoice and finance logging and support.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £24,400.00 per year
