An opportunity has become available for an experienced Multi‑Trade Carpenter to join a busy social housing repairs team working across occupied properties in the Northampton area. The role involves carrying out a wide range of carpentry repairs along with associated multi‑trade tasks to ensure homes are maintained to a high standard.
Your new role
Carry out day‑to‑day carpentry repairs in occupied domestic properties.
Complete associated multi‑trade tasks such as basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and minor decorating where required.
Work professionally and respectfully within tenants' homes.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Maintain accurate records of completed works using the organisation's systems.
Represent the service positively and provide excellent customer care.What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 2 years' experience in domestic carpentry or multi‑trade repair work.
Experience working in occupied social housing properties is highly desirable.
Strong carpentry skills with the ability to complete additional trades to a competent level.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.What you'll get in return
